Description:
Short Bio: Multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer Earl Dixon crafted his skills and unique sound as part of the early-mid 90's electronic scene, together with the sounds of early Miami-bass pioneers, he founded the UBM in 1991 along with James Lines. UBM released several international LP's through DM Records (Koch International).
In 1997, Earl released Transcend at the young age of 17, which helped spark a revival in the Electro - Techno Bass scene. UBM finished Live Deeper in late 1998 and it was released March 1999, Live Deeper had a lot of experimental tracks on it, taking bass music in many different directions. Earl began to collaborate with Matt Gilcrease soon thereafter. Together it's as if they'd experienced an epiphany as they moved away from their defined styles and into new territory, driven by their appetite for something different. They found inspiration in each other's craft and in each others unique and different musical perspectives and soon came to crave the outcome of their mixed, often opposing influences. Audesi was formed in late 2000 as Earl's main musical project and focus.
"The two produce an excellent range of electronic programming that is well-layered with synths, dark keyboard melodies, and amazing vocals with a whirl of emotion." - music.download.com Editors
